What is the POPI Act
We respect your right to privacy and therefore aim to ensure that we comply with the legal requirement of the POPI Act which regulates the manner in which we collect, process, store, share and destroy any personal information which you have provided to us.
What information will we collect
1. Full name, company information, ID number, contact information, banking details
Why do we collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in order to liaise with you telephonically, via our website or email so that we may:
1. respond to any query or comment received from you;
2. inform you of new services;
3. enable us to process, validate and verify information and requests for the supply of services;
4. for the purposes for which you specifically provided the information; and
Minors
If you are under 18 years of age (minor), we will require the consent of your parent/guardian/competent person before we process such personal information.
Processing of Information
We will share your personal information:
1. in order to comply with applicable law or with legal process served on our company;
2. in order to protect and defend the rights or property of our company; and
3. with employees and/or third parties who assist us in providing services to you and thus require your personal information in order to render a proper and efficient service. ALTHOUGH WE TAKE THE AFOREMENTIONED PRECAUTIONS IN PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, WE SHALL HOWEVER NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, HOWSOEVER ARISING, SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF THE DISCLOSURE OF SUCH INFORMATION IF BEYOND OUR REASONABLE CONTROL.
Collection of Information by “Cookies”

Quotations are valid for 24 hours from date of issue and is covered up to a Rate of Exchange.
Quotation is subject to supplier price change, exchange rate fluctuations and stock availability at confirmation of order.
This quotation is only considered accepted once signed and/or a 100% upfront payment is paid in full before collection of goods or order number is supplied with valid credit terms in place. If payment has been made, the Client understands and agrees to all the terms and conditions.
Gearworx Technical Solutions PTY Ltd. reserves the right to prohibit the operation & use of the equipment should full payment not be received.
The equipment will remain the property of Gearworx Technical Solutions PTY Ltd. until fully paid.
Average Delivery of installation/equipment to be confirmed. Unless otherwise stated via E-Mail.
All Reticulation, Power Supplies, Generators provided by Client – Unless otherwise specified in writing.
All structural & engineering calculations by Others.
All Quotations are subject to final site inspection.
Equipment Sales – All products are covered by a carry-in manufacturer’s warranty of twelve (12) months.
All sales are final – Gearworx will honor replacement or refund requests for defective products as per the manufacturer’s warranty.
Confirmation of Services is subject to the receipt of a signed copy of this agreement in addition to confirmation/proof of payment.
Load shedding – Please note, it is the client’s responsibility to confirm any load shedding or power cut schedules with Gearworx 24 hours prior to the installation date – any impacted delays may incur an additional hourly labour charge to the Client.
When payment has been made, the Client therefore acknowledges that they have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions.
By viewing a Quotation/BOQ & the Proposed Designs, you agree not to disclose the confidential information obtained from the discloser to anyone unless required to do so by law.
